MegaShift

This is the page for ordering MegaShift PCB and components. Note that The PCBs are not available yet, but beta versions should be available for those wanting to test by the middle of March 2005.

This is also the MegaShift ordering form for Digi-Key. It will allow you to assemble the MegaShift with just a printed circuit board (PCB) and a completed MegaSquirt. Note that some additional parts will be required, as noted near the bottom of the form.

Change any quantities to the numbers you want, and click the button to send your order to Digi-Key. If the default quantities are used, the price for a 'MegaShift parts kit' should be $31.⁷⁸, as of January 2005.

Quantities are as required for MegaShift , except where minimum order quantities are required. In these cases, the minimum is ordered, with the required quantity in (brackets).

To order complete the following steps:

Verify that you have the quantities you want for each item below.
Then send your order to Digi-Key:

(Go to Ordering Homepage and "CREATE NEW ORDER" if you want to start over with an order after you have submitted it.)
You will be redirected to Digi-Key to verify your order, payment method, and shipping details.
Then finalize your order by clicking on the 'finish order' button on the Digi-Key site and following the instructions there.

Printed Circuit Board (PCB) & processor 4 Momentary Shifter Push-Buttons - for example Radio Shack 275-1556A Mini Momentary Push-Button Switch - comes in a pack of two (one red one black cap) for about $3. Parts for cable to connect push buttons to the PCB. You may be able to scrounge a connector for the pushbutton header JH1 from an old computer, they often used in 2 position configurations for micro-switches, indicator LEDs, etc. Otherwise you can get a connector from a local electronics shop. NOTES:

In addition to the above parts, you will need:
- a complete MegaSquirt^® EFI Controller,
- a MegaShift PCB,
- shifter buttons, connecting wires, and mounting hardware.
