Dodge diesel, 68rfe transmission

A forum for discussing applications and implementations of the MegaShift transmission controller code for the GPIO from B&G. This can control up to 8-speeds and 6 shift solenoids (plus a 16x9 table for controlling a PWM line pressure valve). It has manual and fully automatic modes (16x9 load x speed table), with under and over rev-limit protection, and full data logging of all inputs and outputs (among many other abilities). A TransStim to test your completed board is also available.

Dodge diesel, 68rfe transmission

Post by dieseldude »

I want to use a 68rfe transmission behind a Cummins 4BT installed in a Dodge Dakota. Is there anyone out there with experience using a GPIO board on this transmission? It would be a stand alone GPIO application as this engine has no electronics on it. To date, I have not located any technical in on this transmission. If someone can help, it would be most appreciated.

I think the 68RFE is very similar to the 5-45RFE, they share the same design. So it should be possible to control it with MShift.
I've been working on the 5-45RFE but dont have time at to moment to complete the setup.
