Drawing of board?

I was wondering if there is a clear drawing of the GPIO board showing the component placement? Seen lots of photos but they are usually pretty poor resolution, and as we all know once you install the components you can't see the designations anymore since they are underneath. It'd be a big help during assembly, even more if there is any troubleshooting.

Jim,

I think the problem with a photo of the components in place is that there isn't a 'standard build' for the GPIO board (unlike a V3 main board, for example), so there isn't a standard component placement. The build guides do offer some views: http://www.megamanual.com/mtabcon.htm#mshift

Yeah, the one on the application link for MegaShift seems to be about the best one. When I enlarge it to full screen I can just make out the component designations but it's pretty furry for searching for a component or printing it out. Really, I should have taken a good photo of the board before I started. If I had I'd send it to you. But hindsight is usually better, huh? (Wow, brainstorm. Duh, I have the old unprogrammed board sitting on the desk, no reason I couldn't take a photo of that. Do you want the jpg? or other format)

On a side note, there's a good chance I'll finish up my board this afternoon, and when I do I'll post the revisions to the build instructions for the 8 speed. All of the wiring remains to be done before any testing can begin.

Jim,

I think I have misunderstood you. Are you saying you want a hi-res photo of the bare board to see the component locations markings on the silkscreen? That I can do for sure.

I thought you were asking for a photo of an assembled board so you could see the components, their orientation, etc. (which is why the particular build mattered).

I will work on something and post a link here when it is done.

Lance.

Jim,

The V1 and V2 silkscreens and a hi-res photo of the V2.00 PCB are here: http://www.msgpio.com/manuals/mshift/archive/. I will post the 2.10 diagrams soon (<edit>V2.10 silkscreen uploaded now! Use link above.</edit>).

Thanks Lance and I really appreciate the effort, but I don't really need it now myself. Might be useful for others and they might find this thread but maybe there's a better place for it?

I've got my board built now except for wiring in the off board drivers so I'll report that in the AA80E thread along with relevant info.

Do you happen to have a hi-res picture of the back side of the board?
