MS3x tach signal into GPIO mshift

Post by blueblazer »

Having no luck setting up CAN bus so I'm going to piggyback onto the MS3x. I need to know what, if anything will be needed in modifying the GPIO board to take the tach signal from the MS3x.

blueblazer,

I don't know anything about the ms3 tach output. But if it will drive a standard tach (i.e. it provides a square wave 5V to 12V signal, and is not an 'open collector' output) then it should work fine as a tach input for MShift (n PT5/VR3/Amp14).
