GPIO ordering information

Post by Matt Cramer » Fri May 07, 2010 12:52 pm

We now have GPIO kits on the website! However, because of the variety of uses for the GPIO, we have elected not to make a single, one size fits all, everything required GPIO kit, as you'd probably end up paying - often a lot - for parts you don't use. So, we sell what we call a base kit. This includes the GPIO board, SMD parts, heat sink, voltage regulator, AMPSEAL, jumpers, and case. Then you'd add an application package, such as the MegaShift package, for your desired application. We have one such package out now, with more to come later such as EGT application packs. You can see them in our catalog here:

FYI, we have now released the EGT packages as well. Each EGT package builds one EGT input circuit.

Will the supplied parts in the trans kit be sufficient to run a 5 speed auto trans?

Depends on exactly what inputs and outputs are needed.

Hello Matt, could I ask a more specific question?

What exactly is included in your MegaShift kit? you say "We've also thrown in some extra components" :)

Personally I'm going to need to build the Megashift with outputs for 7 solenoids (6 on/off, 1 PWM), have you thrown in enough "extra components" to do that :) ?

Thanks
