MShift Information

A forum for discussing applications and implementations of the MegaShift transmission controller code for the GPIO from B&G. This can control up to 8-speeds and 6 shift solenoids (plus a 16x9 table for controlling a PWM line pressure valve). It has manual and fully automatic modes (16x9 load x speed table), with under and over rev-limit protection, and full data logging of all inputs and outputs (among many other abilities). A TransStim to test your completed board is also available.

MShift Information

Post by Bernard Fife »

The MShift support documentation is growing all the time, but luckily most of you are finding what you are looking for (which is why this forum often seems quiet - most of what anyone needs to know is already in the docs because we try to write code updates and new documentation simultaneously, and apparently the code is working as designed for people).

However, as the information builds and we see more users implement the MShift/GPIO controller on more transmissions, it may become harder to find the information you are looking for.

So in addition to the search function at the top of each forum page, we have created a 'site map' with links to the most useful pages. You can find it here:

http://www.msgpio.com/manuals/mshift/sitemap.html

We have some additions to make to that page, and once those are done we will try to keep it up to date.

As well, check the top of each page in the manual and indexes for a drop down menu that leads to most areas of the MShift and Mega/MicroSquirt manuals.

Finally, you can click the "F1" key when TunerStudio is open to be taken directly to the web page help for the MShift menu that is active at the time (make sure you have access to the Internet, and that TunerStudio is allowed through your firewall).
