im sorry i thought maybee you could remove 1 channel and get a unique signature per gear but no
then i thought maybee you could wire 2 togeter and get a unique sig, but that is a no go also. it seams the logic is perfectly done so it can't get by by loosing one channel.

can you post a logic diag of this lever sensor? the new ford 4r70 digital one has 4 logic outs a configuration of using 3 can get you info on what gear you are in, it uses 4 because it also indicates "in between" positions.

Ashford. That is a very simple install, unfortunatly that particular circuit is very difficult to find here in Sweden even in Europe... For sure you can get it from Ebay I guess, DigiKey and others do have them but then you spend USD1 for the circuit and USD100 on freight... I assume you still need...

this is what i used on the 4l80 the 4r70 was the same except the capacitor was a .02uf

the 1124 circuit i use is extemely simple it uses only 6 pins on the 8 pin ic and works well with both my 4r70w(6 hole vr) and 4l80. i can post up a pic of it if necessary

i have use an ncv1124 chip on both gpio's i have assembled and it has cured all of my vss issues. i have don this on a separate slide in board, but with some thinking and a map of the vr section of the board it could probably be soldered right on.

vss input is roughtly 93000 ppm divide by 5 and get 18600, so the code should handle this well?

i have a programable speedometer in the car im working on it has a range of 500-900,000 ppm using the default 2002ppm it upadates a bit slow. the question i have is how high can the gpio go without loosing accuracy or saturating the output

test drove with 4129c no noticable problems with just a test drive other than 2-4 manual shift took a few seconds to let out of 2nd gear.

tried this on a 4l80e- no complaints. gonna try it on my 4r70w later today
