Re: Serial comms wiring

Thanks again Lance.

In some cases one might use up all of the pins in the ampseal so in those cases it is better to not bring the serial out through the ampseal correct? I haven't looked at how many spare wires there are in the ampseal so I don't know the answer yet.

Re: Serial comms wiring

Thanks Lance, I've been doing the majority of my attempts at burning firmware with the Tx and Rx wired wrong. Maybe I'll have more luck now :) Another quick question. Does the headphone jack from Mauser protrude across the edge of the PCB? I.e. Can it be soldered to the board without drilling a hole...

Serial comms wiring

Hello, Just having trouble getting the firmware to load on my board. I want to verify that I have the DB9 wired correctly. I am wiring the DB9 directly to the board, instead of going through the headphone jack from Mauser. I know Tx and Rx get connected to pins 2 and 3, but which goes to which? Than...

EGT Circuit while using megashift

I probably know the answer is yes, but I'm wanting to know if I can install the AD595CQ circuit on one of the spare EGT ports while my GPIO is set up for the 4l80e.

Probably a stupid question..

Thanks Lance,

What might one use the "4th input" for?

330 ohm pull up resistors needed for swA, swB, and swC? 4l80

Hey here is one thing I am wondering as I finish the gpio. As I understand it, I have the option of using the internal pressure switch manifold or an external manual gear lever determination for swA, swB, and swC. Is this correct? If so, I think I would prefer to use the internal switch manifold. If...

GPI1 needed for a 2wd application?

Is the GPI1 circuit needed if the vehicle is strictly 2wd?

Thanks,
Dan
