Getting Can data from Transmission with arduino
I am building a Lcd gauge getting information from the MS3 ECU via can us with an arduino teensy, like what is done in this topic:
http://www.msextra.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=123&t=61723
I am getting the information that are broadcast from MS3, including the speed and current gear ...

Re: PCS PWM Testing *solved* - now TCC issues
It was the transistor that was burnt. I replaced it and then it was OK. (I don't know why)
But I did not have the problem in first gear: the TCC could not apply, only on 2nd.

Re: Help with 4L80E
If yes, it was maybe friction between the discs or the band that made the wheel turn like in second gear: not enough torque to keep the wheel from turning.
If you try again with the wheels up, I think you will see the same behaviour as before.

Re: Help with 4L80E
I would try to manually ground the output 1 going to solenoid A to check if it changes something. or check with a multimeter if the output is grounded at this moment.
Did you check the shifter ...

Re: Help with 4L80E
it is the msq, not the log.
for your load problem, check what the MAP vs TPS for load (MAP%) in the Throttle and Load Factors menu.
I put it on 100% MAP now, but before I did not understand why I could see a small load with 200kPa MAP... it was blended with TPS.
Maybe you have to adjust it to ...

Re: Help with 4L80E
I see in the msq that the ISS is disabled.
You also have a problem with the number of VSS teeth
for the TCC, I had once this problem, Everytime the transmission went in second gear, the TCC would engage (it cannot be engaged in first) and the engine would stall.
It was ...

Re: Help with 4L80E
I used once the RPM generator from the jimstim for the MS and an other time a signal generator.
For the other inputs, I ground them to simulate the different positions of the lever.
And I ...

Re: Help with 4L80E
I would try do not force RPM check during the tests.
And also, try to make the sensors ISS and OSS work, or at least VSS: ISS is not needed if you have the RPM from CANbus.
here is a datalog from my friends 4L80e, if you want to see what should happen. 2016-04-02_15.58.47.msl

Re: Forgot to pull fuse for PC solenoid...
When I make a code update, I connect directly to the MSGPIO serial port. I connect with Tunerstudio, get the last msq and save it.
Then I close tunerstudio, I update the code.
WHen it is done, I connect with tunerstudio ...

Re: 4L80E MSQ
I use Table 2 for "normal" driving.
And table 1 for "sport" mode which allows more revs before upshifting. The table switch input is connected to the input 2 of the lever, inside the GPIO. then with the shifter on OD position it selects the table 2 and ...
