The MegaSquirt Project has experienced explosive growth other the years, with hundreds of new MS installations occurring every week - a phenomenal success! MegaSquirt has been successfully used in all aspects of Internal Combustion engine applications including R&D, Industry, Race, and Research. The MS project has transformed itself from a simple R&D project into a full-featured mature engine control system. To reflect this the support structure has also changed to meet the needs of MegaSquirt Users.
Moving forward, the R&D forums for MegaSquirt project are in a read-only mode - no new forum posts are accepted.
However the forums will remain available for view, they still contain a wealth of information on how MegaSquirt works, how it is installed and used. Feel free to search the forums for information, facts, and overview. While the R&D forum traffic has slowed in recent years, this is not at all a reflection of Megasquirt users, which continue to grow year after year. What has changed is that the method of MegaSquirt support today has rapidly moved to Facebook, this is where the vast majority of interaction is happening now. For those not on Facebook the msextra forums is another place for product support. Finally, for product selection assistance, all of the MegaSquirt vendors are there to help you select a system, along with all of the required pieces to make it complete.
Have tried the new INI and my speedometer now shows in km/hr , once again thank you very much for sorting it out so quickly. I appreciate the support you provide for mshift users.
Thanks for doing that so quickly, will download new code and upload into mshift controller when I get home form work. It is 3.20 am, Monday morning and I am getting ready to go to work so I will let you know how it goes a little later on after I get home from work.
Lance, I need some help with the Speedo Output (spare port 0). I am running a 4L60e gearbox with Mshift code 5101ii. I need the speed to be in km/hr. I have set the SI Lengths to be activated. In TunerStudio MS 2.6.19 the speed is shown in km/hr and the indicated mshift speed appears to be correct. ...
Lance, Thanks for looking at this for me, sorry i did not see it was switched to table 2 never looked there as pin 5 (circuit GPI1) has no wire in the GPIO amp seal in that spot and I am not using the switch function. Lance, The issue concerning the downshift appears to be fixed so thanks for that. I now have another question as I need help figuring out why mshift appears to not be shifting at the correct speed according to my shift table. In my log you can see at - @ 676.009, 31.5 avload (mshift), 99.1 km/hr (ms...
Lance, At 409.727 the log shows that the current gear is 1. The average load (mshift) is 27.7 and the rpm is 1074.0 while the speed is 81.8 kph. Looking at my shift table 1 @ 30 kpa load and at 80 kph the transmission should still be in 4th gear, or am i reading the table wrong? I do have rev limiti...
