Hi Lance.
I looked at the suggestion for using the horn circuit. Looks very interesting. I've seen advertisements for steering wheels with buttons on each side, but don't know anything about them. If you actually tested that circuit with an actual wheel, what was the make/model?

I think a phrase in step 3 needs correcting. It looks as if an editing attempt was interrupted (happens to me all the time). I think:
"In all cases, you solder the insert the component on the top side of the PCB..." should read; "In all cases, you insert the component into the top side of the PCB..."
"In all cases, you solder the insert the component on the top side of the PCB..." should read; "In all cases, you insert the component into the top side of the PCB..."

Downshif vs MPG
As a newbie I've been reading lots of posts as a way to educate myself. I've noticed a few concerns about downshifting. My main reason for using MegaSquirt is to tune for economy. Also, I've selected a 4L60E for overdrive, and the ability to tune for economy. I have finished assembling the MS2 V3 ...
